Triangle Youth Music Summer Camps
Registration for Summer 2026 Camps is now OPEN!
Triangle Youth Music is excited to offer several programs this summer for musicians of all instruments.
See below for more information on each of the programs.
Tuition for Half Day Camps is $375, and Full Day Camps is $575. All registrations include a $25 registration fee to confirm your space in the program.
*Registration fees are non-refundable.*
Financial Aid is offered for all programs.

Jazz Camp
(minimum 2 years of experience playing an instrument)
July 13th - July 17th
Price Music Center - NC State University
Full Day Camp (9 AM - 4 PM) - $575
Designed for musicians with at least two years of experience with their instrument, directed by TYJO director, Lisa Burn, and TYJE director, Gregg Gelb.
Students will be broken up into smaller groups based on skill and experience level. Musicians will explore jazz style, improvisation, and prep for TYM auditions (if applicable).
NEW! Wind Ensemble Camp
(8th - 12th Grade)

Full Day Camp (9 AM - 4 PM) - $575
Triangle Youth Music is proud to introduce its inaugural Wind Ensemble Summer Camp, welcoming winds and percussion students from across the Triangle for a high-quality summer music experience. This week-long camp welcomes 8th- 12th grade students who are ready to be challenged, inspired, and connected through exceptional wind band repertoire and chamber music experiences.
Students will rehearse daily in a full wind ensemble, explore chamber music in smaller groups, and collaborate with peers from across the Triangle - building musicianship, confidence, and friendship.
String Orchestra Half/Full Day Camp (minimum 1 year experience playing an instrument)
July 27th - July 31st
Peace Presbyterian Church in Cary
Half Day - $375, Full Day - $575
Directed by TYSO director, Meaghan Clayton and TYSS director, Myre Luke.
From 9 AM - 12 PM, string students of any level beyond beginner can participate in traditional orchestra camp.
For those who want to stay for the full day, 1 PM - 4 PM is Choose Your Own Adventure, where students can select two options each day, including:
- Viola bootcamp
- Movie score workshop
- Music theory/history
- Music composition/arranging
- And more!
Please note: the Choose Your Own Adventure portion is only available to students who participate in the morning session.
